Weekly update

There are some great blogs this week and I am looking forward to seeing the finished magazine pages. Remember the deadline date is the 10th December (next Friday - eek!). The evaluation also needs to be complete by then, the questions are on moodle and there is a link below

Fill in a questionnaire!

It would be really nice if everyone spent about 30 minutes this week answering questionnaires and filling in polls posted by other students. It's also a chance to check out what everyone else is doing! Use the list opposite to visit each blog

Coursework 2010-2011

Welcome to all new students just starting their coursework blog. Attached to this page you'll find links to all of last year's blogs, so if you need some ideas or inspiration then have a look. To start off you need to focus completely on your student magazine. For this you need to make a front cover and a contents page. You are restricted as to what type of photograph you can use on the front cover, so make sure you refer carefully to your brief sheet.

Remember I can view your work at any time, so make sure you are well organised and keep up to date!

One Week to Go!

The deadline is fast approaching! For those of you have forgotten, all work needs to be in by the 12th March. That includes your evaluation and all your pages finished. If you are unsure of the evaluation questions or how to do your evaluation, see your help sheet given out in lessons earlier this week.
Some of you still have lots to do, so get working!

Questionnaires and Polls

We are all a bit behind this week because of exams and snow, so we need to work extra hard this week to get caught up. Try to get your questionnaire posted as soon as possible so that you give people enough time to fill them in. Also check Imogen's blog to see an example of a Poll in action, you can create these online and embed them in your blog.

Don't forget you will need to write a treatment sheet later this week, to see an example log onto moodle.

Changing the date on your blog post

Hi all,
If you're worried that your blog posts are in the wrong order, it is possible to change the date and time that it was posted. Once you have typed your post, go to post options and simply change the date and time, then post!
Simples.

Snow Days!!

Hi all,
Even though we are all stuck at home, remember you can still be adding to your blog. If your blog has been "deleted" you can apply to have it re-activated by signing in and using the link you will find on your dash board. Please do this asap if you are one of the unlucky ones!

You will need to post your new action plan then start by analysing exisiting music magazines.

Some of you might want to make the most of the weather and do a snowy photoshoot for your front cover.
